His heart tells him where she is before he sees her. He wears very little, but it doesn't matter. It's beneath his notice. Feet bare, just the slightest inner robe, unadorned, covers him.
He's strong enough to run. And he does, following his heart, hair wild in the wind as he ignores everything, everyone except her.
He doesn't ask, though perhaps he should. She is HERE. And without a word of greeting or ask for forgiveness, he reaches for her to pick her up and pull her close.
Even a fool can learn if given enough time to brood.
She has barely any warning before there is a flame before her, and she gasps in surprise as he picks her up, and the cold embers that she has tended to so carefully flare to joyful life.
She can touch any part of him she wishes. He turns his head just enough to kiss a palm, then back to return her kiss.
"I will listen to them all." Because she has the right to yell at him for all he'd done. Feanor tightens his hold on her before loosening it to let her move freely.
He would suppose not. Still. She didn't have to have brought any for him.
He chuckles and kisses the side of her head just because he feels like it.
"I will see how much I remember of cooking." Which...considering how long he spent in the Halls, not needing to eat, and before then he was in the midst of battle where most things tasted like ash...
"Then no cooking for you." She pokes him fondly. "I happen to like my current kitchen, and do not wish to have it exploded the first day you come home!"

"Feanaro!"
She prostests.
no subject
Feanor laughs at her protest but eventually sets her gently back on her feet, though he keeps his arms wrapped around her waist.
Then he sobers a little, looking into her eyes. "You have waited a long time. Was it worth it?"
no subject
She looks up at him from the circle of his arms and shakes her head, eyes bright with joyful tears.
"You fool. I waited for you for so long! Why are you always so stubborn?"
no subject
"I am a fool. I was never more a fool than to ignore you in those last days." See? LEARNING!
The smile turns to more of a grin. "Would you have me be any other way?"
no subject
"You were, you are, oh Feanaro! I missed you."
no subject
"And I you. Can we go home?" He'll deal with everyone else later. His wife trumps everything else right now.
no subject
"Yes." She murmurs and leans up to kiss him again. "I've so many angry words for you husband. But first, let's go home. Together."
no subject
"I will listen to them all." Because she has the right to yell at him for all he'd done. Feanor tightens his hold on her before loosening it to let her move freely.

"Good! Are you tired? Hungry? I brought you clothes."
no subject
Of course she kept some of his clothes. "I would dress first, then a meal. I am only just Reborn, there is strength yet!"
no subject
She leans against his arm as they walk.
"That is well. I remain not a terribly good cook, I fear!"
no subject
He chuckles and kisses the side of her head just because he feels like it.
"I will see how much I remember of cooking." Which...considering how long he spent in the Halls, not needing to eat, and before then he was in the midst of battle where most things tasted like ash...

Some things are for only her cough"Hm." She says doubtfully. "I am not sure if I should let you cook, when you sound uncertain!"
no subject
"No? Well, perhaps not. I will watch for now." Must. Relearn. Everything.
no subject
She laughs, a low amused sound.
"I could let you try, if you promise you won't get distracted and blow up lunch!"
no subject
Feanor smirks smugly at her laugh. He's missed the sound. He's missed her.
"I cannot make such a promise!"
no subject
"Then no cooking for you." She pokes him fondly. "I happen to like my current kitchen, and do not wish to have it exploded the first day you come home!"
no subject
"I could remake it better," he answers with a playful sniff.

no subject
...He doesn't plan to go boom again ok? Or self-combust.
no subject
"Hm. Well you'd better run any 'improvements'past me first!"
no subject
"As you wish," that's not a sulk, nope. "Unless you wish to work with me, of course." He misses working with her.
no subject
"Hm. Convince me you can work with someone, husband, and I might very well agree!"
